NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer for Watford General Hospital to deliver high-quality radiographic service in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will support the Cath Lab team, drive service improvement and ensure patient safety and governance compliance.

The role requires HCPC registration, experience in cardiac catheter labs and familiarity with Siemens Artis Q systems, CRIS and Medcon PACS. A Bank contract with flexible working patterns is offered.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered radiographer with DCR(R) or BSc Radiography.
• Experience in cardiac catheter labs and related imaging.
• Knowledge of IR(ME)R, IRR, ALARA, and Basic Life Support.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and develop junior staff and students in radiography.
• Provide clinical guidance and promote professional excellence within the Cath Lab team.
• Lead on safe patient care, protocol compliance and risk assessment documentation.
• Contribute to governance and quality assurance, including clinical audits.
• Plan staff rotas, monitor staffing and resource use, and support induction and training.
• Maintain CPD records and stay updated with radiology advances and courses.
