Job summary

Qualifications

• First Level registration with NMC is required.
• Diploma or Degree in nursing or equivalent, or willingness to study.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.
• Post-registration experience in a clinical setting, preferably in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications in line with treatment protocols; develop skills for cytotoxic chemotherapy administration.
• Work across units providing blood products, infusions and supportive therapies.
• Be flexible to meet unit demands and adhere to Trust policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with MDT and other clinical areas to ensure high standards of care.
