Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 5 Staff Nurse in the FMH Infusion Suite. The post offers UKONS SACT training over 3 months to enable administration of systemic anti-cancer treatments on the specialist day unit.

Candidates should have prior IV administration skills and experience with IV medications. There is potential to undertake the Trust IV passport and further training in SACT administration, with comprehensive nursing documentation evidence.

Qualifications

• Band 5 registered nurse with Oncology experience and willingness to undertake UKONS SACT passport training.
• Must have IV administration skills.
• Experience with IV medication administration and electronic nursing records.

Responsabilités

• Undertake nursing procedures in line with Trust policies and Safeguarding.
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans with evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain accurate nursing records using written and electronic systems.
• Contribute to daily clinical rounds to maintain high standards of care.
• Collaborate on patient care needs and ensure effective communication with patients and relatives.
• Support infection prevention, confidentiality, health & safety and equal opportunities policies.
