Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 5 Accident & Emergency Nurse for Croydon. The role requires NMC registration, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work across nights, weekends and days. A DBS check is supported by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival, assess condition and prioritise care based on severity.
• Administer initial treatments and stabilise patients as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist the medical team with diagnostics and interpreting results.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.
• Refer a Friend Bonus: £500 bonus when they refer other healthcare professionals who work with Pulse Nursing.

Job Title: Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Banding: Band 5
Location: Croydon, Surrey
Rate: £20.18 - £27.50 per hour

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.
• £500 Refer a Friend Bonus: Refer other healthcare professionals and earn a £500 bonus when they work with Pulse Nursing.
