Job summary

Pulse Nursing in North London is seeking an experienced Band 5 A&E nurse to join the emergency department team. You will triage patients, provide acute care, monitor vitals, and assist with diagnostics and treatments in a high-pressure environment.

The role requires NMC registration, at least 6 months of experience, and flexibility to cover nights and weekends. DBS check is required and facilitated by Pulse Nursing. Competitive weekly pay and supportive consultant are offered.

Location: North London
Rate: £22.33 - £27.92 per hour

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritising care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilise patients, providing life‑saving measures when necessary.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
• Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
