Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 5 Accident & Emergency Nurse for Croydon. The role requires NMC registration, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work across nights, weekends and days. A DBS check is supported by the agency.

The position offers flexible shifts and access to a consultant for guidance. A £500 refer-a-friend bonus is available if new healthcare professionals are recruited to Pulse Nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work across nights, weekends and days.
• Current DBS check (Pulse Nursing can help facilitate).

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival, assess condition and prioritise care based on severity.
• Administer initial treatments and stabilise patients as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist the medical team with diagnostics and interpreting results.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Access to a dedicated consultant for support and advice.
• Refer a Friend Bonus: £500 bonus when they refer other healthcare professionals who work with Pulse Nursing.
• Offer flexible shifts: full-time, part-time and flexible options.
