Responsibilities

Locala Dental Care provides comprehensive dental care for children and adults with additional needs, and for other priority groups, across Calderdale and Kirklees.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse who identifies with our values and is passionate about providing care for those most in need.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic Dental Nurses for this post based at St Johns Health Centre and to support our other clinics across Kirklees and Calderdale.

Main duties of the job :

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high quality clinical support in a wide range of treatments for a broad client base which includes adults and children with additional needs, complex medical histories, challenging behaviours and phobic patients.

You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining an environment to provide a high standard of care for patients, adhering to IPC protocol.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships and be an effective team player who is dedicated to providing excellent high-quality service.

We would like you to have a welcoming and positive approach for our patients and be a reliable member of the team, and we require you to be flexible in your approach to work and rotation across all our sites will be required.

The successful applicant must be fully registered with the General Dental Council.

The post will require the relevant disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
