Band 3 Rotational Physiotherapy Assistant role within Inpatient Therapies. Provides clinical and administrative support to qualified staff, assisting with treatment programmes.

Under supervision, works in ward-based settings, helping patients complete their treatment, and prepares environment and equipment. Includes data inputting, stock management and participation in 7-day acute therapies service.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical and administrative support to qualified staff providing patient care.
• Implement and progress agreed planned treatment programmes.
• Work under the supervision of qualified therapy staff, to undertake a variety of tasks (clinical and non-clinical).
• Assist patients to complete their treatment, teaching and progressing when necessary, individually and in groups.
• Prepare the environment and equipment.
• Maintain stock and equipment including reordering.
• Non-clinical duties include data inputting and housekeeping which aid the efficient running of the department.
• Be an active participant in Acute Therapies 7 day working service.

To provide both clinical and administrative support to qualified staff providing patient care. Implement and progress agreed planned treatment programmes.
