Job summary

phs Group Ltd. is recruiting a Baler and Compactor Field Service Engineer to service and maintain recycling equipment on a reactive and scheduled basis.

You will work with the Service Planning Supervisor, Technical Manager and Operations Director to ensure efficient, safe delivery. You will liaise with controllers, plan daily work to maximise customer service and meet SLAs, while completing accurate paperwork and stock records.

Qualifications

• Ideally from a service engineering, electrical or hydraulic background with fault-finding ability.
• Able to read hydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams and apply safety practices.
• Comfortable with maintenance of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain recycling equipment on reactive and scheduled basis.
• Plan daily work with field supervisor to meet customer SLAs and targets.
• Liaise with call controllers and planning to deliver high service levels.
• Complete paperwork and electronic records as required; update stock usage.
• Attend meetings and training courses as required by Field Service.
• Carry out safe, cost-effective tasks with minimum supervision.
