Job summary

Compact & Bale Ltd based in Derby is seeking a Field Service and Plant Engineer to join our team. You will install, maintain and repair compactors and balers at customer sites, diagnosing faults and performing preventative maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.

The role requires an engineering certification and 3 years' experience, with the ability to read schematics and work independently. A company van is provided; permanent, full-time position in the UK.

Qualifications

• Requirements include mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering certification.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Ability to read technical schematics, manuals and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair compactors, balers and related machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
