Qualifications

  • Experience as Bakery Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in luxury hotel.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH standards essential.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is looking for a Bakery Sous Chef to join our team!

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and driven Bakery Sous Chef to take a leading role in our new production kitchen at Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge. In this exciting opportunity, you will head up a small team of two, working closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to deliver high-quality baked goods for our restaurants, in-room dining, events, and more.

Your creativity, leadership, and precision will be key in shaping and launching our bakery production, ensuring every item meets the exceptional standards of Four Seasons.

What you will do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the new bakery production kitchen

  • Supervise, train, and support a team, fostering a collaborative and positive environment

  • Oversee the production of breads, viennoiseries, and baked goods for various hotel outlets

  • Ensure all bakery items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation practices

  • Contribute to recipe development, innovation, and seasonal offerings

  • Manage production planning, ordering, and inventory control

  • Support cost control initiatives and work closely with senior culinary leadership

What you bring:

  • Previous experience as a Bakery Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end bakery environment

  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-oriented approach

  • Expertise in artisanal breads, viennoiserie, and large-scale bakery production

  • A passion for precision, creativity, and continuous improvement

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Sound knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, COSHH)

  • Food Hygiene certification (CIEH Level 2 or higher)

  • Fluency in spoken and written English

  • Full eligibility to work in the UK
