Job summary

Warburtons seeks a highly organised Technical Coordinator to uphold product quality, food safety, and process efficiency across the site. You will work with Compliance, Production and Engineering teams to drive improvements and ensure timely delivery of quality baked products.

The role emphasizes audits, data-driven decision making, and strong collaboration within a fast-paced bakery environment. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills including Excel and spreadsheets.
• Experience in fast-paced environment with Food Safety or quality control.
• Strong team working ethic and collaboration.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a wider site function.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and regular process audits.
• Test products in the small laboratory and monitor quality parameters.
• Coordinate site bakery trials with Centre Technical Team.
• Maintain production process records and quality control checks; generate reports.
• Manage internal calibration schedule with engineers for quality and safety equipment.
• Provide training and technical support to bakery staff on processes and quality.
• Support HACCP and QMS internal audit teams for food safety compliance.
