Job summary

Samworth Brothers (The Cornwall Bakery) is seeking Production Operators to join our team in the South West. You will be responsible for line setup at the start of production, conduct weight checks and product measurements, and manage foreign body control to maintain safety and quality.

You will adjust lines to ensure quality standards are met and monitor line efficiency, with opportunities for progression towards Team Leader and other management roles as you grow within the family business.

Responsibilities

• Set up production lines at start of shift; perform weight checks and product measurements; monitor foreign body management to ensure safety and quality.
• Adjust line settings to meet quality standards and manage line efficiency (planned vs actual run rate).
• Collect pastry waste for rework and contribute to waste reduction initiatives.
