Job summary

Warburtons is seeking a Production Operative for Bakery 41 in Wakefield. You will operate machinery, monitor production lines, and help uphold quality, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Join a multi-skilled shift team, with training and development opportunities, at our brand-new Wakefield site. You will be part of a high‑performing operation, contributing to continuous improvement, health and safety compliance, and delivering great products to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
• Willing to work a flexible shift pattern including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and monitor production lines to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in a 24/7 operation.
