Job summary

Fletchers Bakeries Ltd on site in Sheffield is seeking a Quality Front Line Manager to join our Technical Team within the Northern Cluster. You will own on-site food safety and product quality, leading investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to protect product integrity.

You will manage routine QA testing, feed back to management, and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and customer specifications, while supporting export processes and site quality systems.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Hygiene and Level 2 HACCP qualifications.
• Internal Auditor experience in GMP environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality data management.
• Broad experience in the food industry, bakery preferred.
• Strong allergen controls awareness and compliance.
• Proven record in continuous improvement and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of on-site food safety and quality performance.
• Lead investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits covering hygiene, GMP, allergen management, and CCPs.
• Maintain traceability exercises and present findings during audits.
• Support export processes and liaise with supply chain and site veterinary teams.
• Ensure continued compliance to BRC and site Quality Management System.
