Job summary

Paul Rhodes Bakery Ltd in Greenwich, London, is seeking a capable Production Supervisor to lead the shift on site. You will ensure on-time production to our standards, supervise the team, monitor quality, and help maintain HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising or leading a team in bakery or food production.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to keep production on time.
• Attention to detail in quality checks and record keeping.
• Clear communication and leadership abilities to guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the production team on shift to meet plans on time and to specification.
• Monitor output and product quality and resolve problems with the Head Baker.
• Ensure recipes, allergen controls and company procedures are followed at all times.
• Keep accurate production, batch, traceability and cleaning records.
• Track output, waste and labour efficiency and suggest process improvements.
• Support shift planning, rotas, absence cover and handovers.
• Coach bakers and operatives and train new starters.
• Maintain a clean, safe, well-organised production area and report hazards.
• Follow instructions and assist on related issues as required.
