Job summary

Ethero Strategic Staffing is seeking a reliable Bakery Production Operative to assist with the preparation and production of bakery products at our Newcastle-under-Lyme site. This role involves operating machinery safely under supervision and packing finished goods.

You will work across departments, maintain hygiene standards, and report production activities. The position offers 12-hour shifts, 3-5 days a week, with weekly pay and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for long periods (adjustments considered).
• Previous food-production experience is helpful but not essential.

Pay rate: £13.11 - £13.15 per hour PAYE, paid weekly

Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply

Working Hours

• Any 3-5 days out of 7
• Sunday to Saturday
• 12h shifts

Shift Times As Follows

• 18:30 - 06:30 / 06:30 - 18:30
• 19:00 to 07:00 / 19:00 to 07:00

Requirements
