Job summary

Allied Bakeries is seeking motivated Bakery Operatives to join our Newcastle-under-Lyme production team. The role offers 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, with a starting salary of £28,791.60 and progression to £32,172.07 after training.

Expect a 42-hour average week and hands-on manufacturing responsibilities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, monitoring product quality, and supporting efficient line operation while

• Basic numeracy and literacy with record keeping.

Join Our Team: We are seeking Bakery Operatives to join our production team.

We are looking for motivated and hardworking Bakery Operatives to join our fast-paced production team in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in food manufacturing, this could be the perfect oppertunity for you!

Location: Hovis Bakeries, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Salary: Starting at £28,791.60 increasing to £32,172.07 after successful completion of training.
Shifts: Average if 42 hours per week.

This role operates 12-hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including night work and weekends.

What You Need To Know:

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
• Monitor product quality and consistency
• Support the efficient operation of production lines
• Take part in training and development activities, including 1-to-1 sessions

This is a physically demanding role in a fat-paced factory enviroment, so resilience, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.

The Right Person

Essential
