Job summary

Hovis is a UK-based bakery group with 2,800 colleagues across 8 bakeries, a flour mill and distribution centres.

The role focuses on fulfilling daily orders, delivering the shift production plan on time, and maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and housekeeping within the bakery operations. You will be a team player, learn quickly, and be willing to work across plants as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 month’s experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Flexible and willing work across all plants when required.
• Willing to learn/act up charge hand duties.
• Experience of operating production machinery.
• Good numeracy & literacy skills.
• Good attendance and timekeeping record.
• Promotes a high standard of housekeeping.
• Ability to transfer skills to other areas of the bakery if needed.
• Audit-ready mentality.
