Hovis Bakeries (Formally known as Allied Bakeries) in Stockport is seeking Bakery Operatives/Manufacturing Technicians to join a busy production environment. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts across days, nights and weekends, with a strong emphasis on safety, hygiene and quality.

You will be part of a team focused on producing high-quality bakery products while adhering to strict regulatory standards.

Overview of role

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £37,032 – £38,850 per year depending on role
Hours: 42 hours per week | 12-hour shifts
Shift Pattern: This role operates 12-hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including days, nights and weekends.

We're looking for enthusiastic Bakery Operative and Manufacturing Technicians to join our Stockport operation at Hovis Bakeries (formally known as Allied Bakeries).

What will you be doing?

As a Bakery Operative, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bakery products within a busy and highly regulated manufacturing environment.

• Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures

• Support the efficient operation of production lines

You'll be part of a team where everyone plays an important role in keeping our operation moving.

This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced factory environment, so resilience, reliability and a positive attitude are essential.

What are we looking for?

You don't need to have years of experience within a manufacturing environment to join us (although that would be beneficial)!

We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and safety conscious.
