Job summary

JMD Recruitment is seeking a competent baker for a brand new village bakery. This exciting role invites you to bring your own recipes and ideas that the village will love.

You will prepare and deliver bakery products, assist in daily production, keep the kitchen clean and hygienic, and support front-of-house staff during busy periods. Level 2 food hygiene is desirable, and salary is experience dependent.

Qualifications

Competent baker with ability to create/adapt recipes.
Experience in producing a range of bakery goods.
Maintains high standards of hygiene and quality control.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver bakery products ready for sale.
Assist in daily production to meet shop demand.
Keep kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
Follow all food hygiene procedures.
Support front-of-house staff during busy periods if needed.

Job description

We are looking for team members for our brand new village bakery. This is an exciting opportunity for a competent baker, who is looking for a new challenge.

General Duties:

Preparing and delivering many bakery products, ready for sale. Helping prepare essential recipes, popular bakes and everyday items.
Competent in your own baking, bringing your own recipes, ideas and experience. We are happy for you to try new recipes of your own that the village will love.
Assisting in the daily production to keep up with the shop demand.
Keeping kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
Follow all food hygiene procedures.
Working alongside other members of staff to ensure a smooth running of the shop.
Supporting the front of house staff, during busier periods if needed.
