The Old Vic in London is looking for Backstage FOH Crew to provide exceptional service across our Backstage café bar. The role combines barista, bartending and waiting activities to deliver a welcoming visitor and dining experience.

Working at least 16 hours per week, evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be involved in line with performance schedules and business needs. Competitive hourly rate £14.96 complements a flexible, theatre-based environment.

Formación

• Experience in customer service, preferably hospitality.
• Ability to provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in theatre, arts venue, cafe, restaurant, or bar.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the EPOS/till systems and process all transactions accurately.
• Open and close duties according to the rota; stock checks as required.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; mix cocktails.
• Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks; upsell items where appropriate.
• Greet customers, take orders, serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across cafe, service counter, seating area and equipment.
