The NWH Group in Edinburgh is seeking a Backshift HGV Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet. This role operates on a backshift schedule, with a 3-day week and 12-hour shifts, located at Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacement.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts.
• Use hand tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
