Job summary

The NWH Group is a leading UK recycling and waste management business, offering a backshift position in Scotland. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and fabricate or weld components as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
• Proficient in using hand tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct inspections and identify any necessary repairs or replacement.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts.
• Use hand tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
