Job summary

Albert Bartlett is seeking a friendly Fresh Production Operator to join our backshift team in Scotland. You’ll help run production lines, monitor equipment, and ensure our potato products meet quality standards. Training is offered for the right candidate.

Backshift hours are Sunday 09:00-17:00, Monday-Thursday 17:00-01:00, with every 3rd Saturday. Pay starts at £12.71 per hour plus a 50p backshift premium, plus benefits and 31 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• A passion for working in food production.
• Willing to learn and train for the right candidate.
• Good communication and teamwork to support the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to keep line running smoothly.
• Check the quality of potato products to meet standards.
• Keep the production area clean and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with teammates to maintain workflow.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines to keep systems running.
• Document production metrics and report concerns to supervisor.
