Job summary

Routes to Work in Airdrie, Scotland, is seeking a Production Operator - Fresh - Backshift to support our potato production line. You will operate and monitor machinery while ensuring safety and quality standards. Accurate data recording and teamwork are essential to meet daily targets.

Backshift hours are Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM and Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a competitive hourly rate starting at £12.71 plus a £0.50 backshift allowance. Training and development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within the food sector.
• High attention to detail to maintain product quality and safety standards.
• Good communication skills to effectively work within a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work backshift hours and adapt to varying production demands.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while strictly adhering to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
