Job summary

Routes to Work, with operations based in Airdrie, Scotland, invites applications for the Production Operator - Fresh - Backshift. You will operate the fresh potato production line during backshift and ensure quality. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety and timely targets within a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Sunday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with an hourly rate starting at £12.71 plus a £0.50 backshift allowance. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing, ideally in food.
• Detail-oriented to maintain quality and safety.
• Good teamwork and communication.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.
• Willingness to work backshift hours.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections for freshness and specs.
