Routes to Work, with operations based in Airdrie, Scotland, invites applications for the Production Operator - Fresh - Backshift. You will operate the fresh potato production line during backshift and ensure quality. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety and timely targets within a fast-paced environment.

With operations based in Airdrie, Scotland, and additional facilities in Boston, Westwick, and Jersey, we pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and sustainable practices. We are currently recruiting for the position of Production Operator - Fresh - Backshift. In this role, you will be essential in the day-to-day operation of our fresh potato production line during the backshift. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our products maintain their fresh and premium standards. The working hours for this backshift role are from approximately Monday- Thursday 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Sunday 9AM-5PM with a competitive hourly rate starting at £12.71 plus a £0.50 backshift allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure the efficient processing of fresh potato products.
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure freshness and compliance with company specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Accurately record production data and promptly report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively within the team to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
• Engage in continuous learning and training to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.

Requirements
