Job summary

Corsearch in London is seeking a Tech Lead to guide and scale our Product Infrastructure team. You will lead 3-5 engineers and shape technical strategy across data ingestion, AI integration, and production backends.

The role focuses on real-time streaming pipelines, Kubernetes on AWS, PostgreSQL performance, and observable systems using Grafana and ClickHouse. Strong leadership and hands-on coding in Python are essential to drive scalable, reliable data workflows.

Qualifications

Direct people management experience or strong background in technical leadership, mentoring engineers, or leading project teams.
Production engineering experience building, scaling, and monitoring backend and infrastructure applications.
Proficiency in Python as core backend language; familiarity with Go/Java/C++ is acceptable.
Deep PostgreSQL knowledge: queries, indexing, high-concurrency tuning, data modeling.
Hands-on Kubernetes management, deployment, and container orchestration.
Cloud infrastructure knowledge with hands-on AWS experience.
Excellent communication to bridge technical work with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a 3-5 engineer product infrastructure team.
Architect ingestion pipeline migration from batch to real-time streaming.
Oversee infrastructure scaling and database performance under heavy load (PostgreSQL).
Partner with Product Engineering to evolve real-time AI integration in data workflows.
Leverage observability tools (Grafana, ClickHouse) to automate incident investigation and improve performance.
Align roadmaps with cross-functional squads and translate business goals into technical plans.
