The Software Engineer II role involves owning backend services, contributing to large features, and writing high-quality Python code while participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend Python development experience.
• Experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Proficient in writing tests with pytest (unit/integration/API).
• Experience designing and evolving REST APIs, with versioning and error handling.
• Ability to clarify requirements and document decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own well-scoped backend and services work from design through production.
• Contribute to design and implementation of features with other engineers.
• Write high-quality Python code and participate in code reviews.
• Improve testability, observability, reliability, and maintainability.
