Circuit Mind is building an innovative software engine for circuit boards in London, seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend and full-stack work with Python, Django, and data-driven ML components. You will lead collaborations with hardware engineers and product teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive Python experience, and a track record in agile environments, with a hybrid work model and an office at London Bridge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Python.
• 2+ years in a senior software engineer position.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team and in-house hardware engineers to understand hardware problems.
• Plan, design, develop, test and iterate on software solutions addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Co-design, pair on, and review development work of other lead software developers.
• Work on the entire backend code base: data models, algorithms, data pipelines, infrastructure, APIs, complex database queries, ML models.
• Learn, use, and improve best practices and processes for high-quality software development.
