Job summary

MOO, the London-based print and merchandise innovator, is hiring a Software Engineer for its Forge/Platform Team in Camden. You’ll join a small crew to enhance resilience, observability, and scalability of internal systems that power post-purchase fulfilment and vendor integrations.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, own technical areas over time, and contribute to platform features while growing in a supportive, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, AWS and Spring Boot.
• Experience delivering backend services in a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy backend services in a cross-functional team using Java, Terraform and AWS.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and incident response for system resilience.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code supporting fulfilment workflows.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for scale.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to support new product launches and vendor integrations.
• Continuously improve CI/CD and developer experience.
