Job summary

MOO, based in London and Camden, is recruiting a Software Engineer to join our Forge platform team. You will help ensure the post-purchase journey is reliable, scalable, and efficiently delivered by building robust backend services.

You will work closely with senior engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and take ownership of technical areas as you grow in a collaborative, agile environment focused on quality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Java and modern frameworks.
• Experience building reliable, scalable services in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and observability tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy backend services as part of a cross-functional team using Java, Terraform, and AWS.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and incident response processes for system reliability.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in pair programming and code reviews.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to help scale our platform.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to support new product launches and vendor integrations.
• Improve developer experience and CI/CD pipelines.
