Job summary

A digital platforms provider in Hull is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its CloudOps team. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments.

A business operating large-scale digital platforms within the automotive sector is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its CloudOps team.

The role sits within a team responsible for maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure that supports high-traffic e-commerce platforms. Work will include supporting a major platform relaunch, improving platform reliability, and helping deliver new international environments as the business continues to expand.

This position offers a mix of platform operations, infrastructure automation, and delivery of new cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the relaunch of a large automotive e-commerce platform
• Build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure
• Deliver new cloud environments for international platform rollouts
• Improve platform reliability, automation, and deployment processes

Technology Environment

• AWS
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Observability tooling (logging, metrics, alerting)

Experience Required

• Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes in production environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure (Azure experience also considered)
