Job summary

Triptease in the UK is seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer to tackle backend challenges and contribute to full-stack work. You will help craft scalable systems, explore AI-driven features, and improve direct bookings for hoteliers worldwide.

The role emphasizes pair programming, trunk-based delivery, and collaboration across squads. You’ll work with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and cloud-native tech in a fast-growing, impact-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with pair programming and test-driven development.
• Strong backend experience in TypeScript with frontend skills.
• Cloud deployment pipelines and CD on cloud platforms.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and BigQuery for real-time analytics.
• Designing distributed, high-availability systems with clear interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Pair program with teammates for most coding time.
• Participate in standups, planning, and retros to improve processes.
• Collaborate openly and contribute ideas and strategy.
• Own parts of the Triptease stack from concept to production.
• Practice trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
