Job summary

RM Education is seeking a mid-level engineer to contribute across the software lifecycle, from inception to production. You will work on scalable systems, applying strong problem-solving skills, and collaborating to maintain high standards in code quality.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive improvements, and contribution to product safety and process enhancements, with a supportive team environment and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end development experience in production environments.
• Solid front-end development with modern Javascript (ES6+), CSS styling and responsive design.
• Strong programming skills (back-end .NET focus).
• Experience in developing scalable software for large codebases with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of at least one major cloud provider.
• Commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience designing, understanding, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Security, Networking, and Database concepts.
• Familiarity with standard project lifecycle processes.
• Proactive and inquisitive by nature, willing to take on various responsibilities.
• Experience with Docker.
• Understanding of standards for code quality, testing, and iterative, continuous delivery.
• Experience owning a feature from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging high-volume production system.
