RM Education is seeking a Senior Engineer to help shape next-generation education technology. You will guide projects from inception to production, translating designs into scalable software while ensuring security and reliability.

The role emphasizes mentoring peers, enforcing coding standards, and collaborating across architecture, product and development teams. You will leverage PHP, Docker, PostgreSQL, and cloud services to deliver high-quality solutions in a hybrid, multi-location

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience with PHP.
• Proficiency in designing, understanding, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS).
• Demonstrated commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience owning a feature from concept to production, including proposal and execution.

Responsabilités

• Shape the future of education technology with Product Owners, Architects and Dev teams.
• Collaborate with Product Architects to optimize technical designs and translate concepts into deliverables.
• Lead projects from inception to production with emphasis on integration of key features.
• Build highly scalable and reliable applications using core software design principles (DDD, SOLID).
• Mentor and support fellow developers while upholding coding standards and best practices.
• Partner with teams to drive product improvements, security, and streamlined processes.
