Client Server Limited is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer (Go / Node.js) to join a distributed messaging platform powering real-time interactions. This role focuses on building scalable components, improving latency and reliability in a high-growth tech environment.

You can work remotely with hybrid office days in North London, participating in tech talks, lunch-and-learn events, and team collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Go or Node.js.
• Experience building or operating distributed systems, messaging platforms or streaming systems.
• Understanding of scalability, concurrency, performance optimization and fault-tolerant design.
• Ability to deliver production-grade software in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core messaging platform components for high-scale real-time systems.
• Improve performance, reliability and scalability of distributed services.
• Own architectural decisions and code quality in a AI-enabled environment.
• Collaborate with teams via Slack and in-person technical talks when required.
