Job summary

Stratospherec Ltd in the UK seeks a Backend Developer / Data Engineer to build robust backend services and database functionality for a SaaS platform. The role focuses on Microsoft techs (SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures) with C# and .Net, delivering scalable enterprise applications in an in-office Bristol setting.

You will design databases, optimise queries, and maintain API services while ensuring data integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and supporting production web applications with a SQL Server backend.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust and maintainable backend services and application logic using C#
• Develop and maintain web APIs
• Design, develop and maintain SQL Server databases
• Develop and optimise stored procedures, functions and queries
• Analyse query and database performance and implement improvements through query optimisation
• Ensure changes protect data integrity and reliability
• Maintain documentation of data structures, logic and dependencies
• Contribute to ongoing modernisation of the SaaS platform
