Job summary

Stratospherec Ltd is seeking a capable software engineer to join our Bristol-area team. You will work with engineers to build and maintain robust software systems, enhancing features across platforms and coordinating with design colleagues.

The role emphasizes agile ceremonies, collaboration, and delivering client-focused solutions. The ideal candidate has strong C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Git skills, plus experience with SQL, HTML/CSS, and web APIs.

• C# experience.
• JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• React or a similar framework experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with SQL/T-SQL.
• Experience with HTML/CSS.
• Experience developing web APIs.
• Desirable: Microsoft Azure DevOps experience.
• Desirable: Microsoft Azure cloud services experience.
• Desirable: Experience with web infrastructure.
• Desirable: Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Desirable: Experience integrating third-party software through Web APIs.
• Full UK work visa with no sponsorship required.
• Willingness to relocate permanently to the Bristol area.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to establish and maintain stable, well-engineered software systems.
• Develop and enhance features within our platforms, addressing development challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different platforms to coordinate development efforts.
• Participate in daily standups and agile ceremonies to contribute to development direction and company processes.
• Work closely with our support team on client requests, issues, and testing.
