Job summary

Applied Data Science Partners Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and deploy software solutions, including backend APIs and data pipelines.

You will work closely with a software team, using Git for version control and modern development practices to ensure robust, scalable systems. The role emphasizes Python development, FastAPI and Pydantic libraries, cloud deployment, and Docker usage within a hybrid London-based setup.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiar with multiple paradigms (OO, functional, procedural).
• Experience contributing to design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate within a software team using Git for version control and workflow management.
• Write clean, efficient code in Python and related paradigms.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and data engineering pipelines (FastAPI, Pydantic).
• Support cloud deployment and understand cloud environments.
• Use Docker at an intermediate level with storage and Linux permissions.
