Job summary

Data Idols, London, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and scale data pipelines in a hybrid/remote role. You’ll own the data integration architecture across commercial systems and a central cloud warehouse, delivering reliable data foundations for analytics and AI‑driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong Python and SQL, hands‑on GCP/BigQuery experience, and familiarity with modern tools like dbt, Airflow and Fivetran. Excellent stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and maintaining production‑grade data pipelines.
• Strong hands‑on Python and SQL expertise.
• Extensive GCP and BigQuery experience.
• Experience with HubSpot and data integrations.
• Practical knowledge of reverse ETL and moving data between warehouses and operational systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs and data interfaces.
• Familiarity with modern data tooling (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Census).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
