Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and develop autonomous AI systems using Python and modern LLM/MLOps techniques. You will build agentic workflows, integrate data sources and APIs, and optimise deployment of multi-modal models for production environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder communication, and delivery of robust AI-enabled applications in a flexible London-based/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI or related STEM disciplines (2.1 or above).
• Strong Python software engineering background including API development.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLMs and multi-modal models at scale in production.
• Strong understanding of scalable MLOps, observability and cloud-native AI deployment.
• Collaborative, pragmatic with stakeholder communication, problem-solving in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop autonomous AI systems with multi-modal LLMs (text, image, audio, video).
• Build agentic workflows enabling AI agents to interact with data sources and APIs.
• Deploy large language and multi-modal models with performance and latency focus.
• Develop scalable MLOps pipelines and full-stack applications for production AI deployments.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams and clients through AI engineering and GenAI adoption.
