Job summary

Client Server in London is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to own the orchestration engine using Python, FastAPI and AWS in a high-velocity production environment. You’ll design for unpredictable workloads and contribute to the AI-native data platform.

Based in London with the flexibility to work from home twice a week, you’ll ship end-to-end infrastructure, write Terraform, monitor deployments and influence the product roadmap within a small, ambitious team offering equity and strong

Qualifications

• Advanced backend Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform).
• Proficient in Docker, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Python-based orchestration engine for scheduling, execution, retries, concurrency and cancellation.
• Designs for unpredictable workloads and builds the AI-native data plane.
• Develops end-to-end infrastructure, writes Terraform, and ships production-grade changes.
• Collaborates with customers and engineers to influence product roadmap.
