Job summary

Slim Chickens Bath is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to lead and develop the kitchen team in a fast-paced, casual environment. You will oversee all back-of-house operations, ensure high-quality food, and collaborate with front-of-house for seamless service.

We value strong leadership, robust food safety knowledge, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Weekend and late-night availability is required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a kitchen or fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a kitchen team.
• Passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand's high standards.
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive.
