Slim Chickens Nottingham is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to oversee all kitchen operations, lead the team, and ensure high-quality dishes in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with FOH to deliver seamless service and uphold food safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for delivering consistent, quality food. Weekend and holiday availability is essential to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a kitchen team
• A passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
