Job summary

Homewood, a 32-bedroom boutique hotel and spa near Bath, is seeking an experienced Back of House Supervisor to keep our restaurant operation running smoothly behind the scenes. This hands-on role puts you at the heart of service, supervising the Back of House team, coordinating deliveries, stock and storage, and ensuring health and hygiene standards are met.

We offer £13 per hour plus monthly tronc, 40 hours a week across 5 days, meals on duty, training and progression opportunities across

Qualifications

• Back of House and restaurant experience
• Experience in busy hospitality environments
• Confidence supervising and supporting a team
• Hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in
• Good organisation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Back of House team during busy services
• Support restaurant and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly
• Ensure crockery, glassware, cutlery and equipment are clean and ready
• Keep Back of House areas clean, tidy and well organised
• Assist with deliveries, stock and storage
• Support and train team members
• Maintain high standards throughout shifts
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed

We’re looking for an experienced Back of House Supervisor to help keep our restaurant operation running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a hands‑on role, so you’ll be right in the middle of service, supporting the team and making sure everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervising the Back of House team during busy restaurant services
• Supporting the restaurant and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly
• Making sure crockery, glassware, cutlery and equipment are clean, organised and ready for service
• Keeping Back of House areas clean, tidy and well organised
• Helping with deliveries, stock and storage
• Supporting and training team members
• Keeping standards high throughout the shift
• Making sure health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed

What we’re looking for

• Previous Back of House or restaurant experience
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment
• Confidence supervising and supporting a team
• A hands‑on approach and willingness to get stuck in
