Job summary

Homewood is a 32-bedroom boutique hotel and spa near Bath where luxury loosens its tie and nobody takes themselves too seriously. We’re looking for an experienced Back of House Supervisor to help keep our restaurant operation running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on role, so you’ll be right in the middle of service, supporting the team and making sure everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.

Qualifications

• Previous Back of House or restaurant experience
• Experience in a busy hospitality environment
• Confident supervising and supporting a team
• Hands-on approach to getting tasks done
• Good organisation and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Back of House team during busy restaurant services
• Support the restaurant and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly
• Ensure crockery, glassware, cutlery and equipment are clean, organised and ready for service
• Keep Back of House areas clean, tidy and well organised
• Assist with deliveries, stock and storage
• Support and train team members
• Maintain high standards throughout the shift
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed

What we’re looking for

• Previous Back of House or restaurant experience
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment
• Confidence supervising and supporting a team
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in
• Good organisation and communication skills
• High standards and great attention to detail

The details

• £13 per hour plus tronc
  
• 40 hours per week
• Across 5 days
