Job summary

Cavendish Maine in Stroud, a leading outdoor furniture supplier for hotels, golf clubs and care homes, seeks an entry-level Sales Executive. You will drive new business development, onboarding and order processing, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver a professional service.

You’ll respond to enquiries with quotes, attend two trade shows annually, and work with finance and warehouse colleagues to ensure smooth operations. Salary c£30k-£33k with benefits.

Qualifications

• Intelligent, articulate and ambitious with an eye for sales development.
• Some sales experience and understanding of sales processes.
• Excellent communication in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Energetic, proactive and a strong team player.
• Living within commuting distance of the Stroud office.
• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales enquiries with quotes, proposals and site visits as needed.
• Use internal systems to place orders and arrange deliveries.
• Generate sales enquiries via email marketing technology.
• Attend two trade shows a year to identify new potential customers.
• Resolve customer questions to provide complete satisfaction.
• Coordinate with finance, warehouse and customer service.
• Support colleagues in other activities as required.
