Job summary

Viking EMEA is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to support the UK sales region. Based in Tipton or Epworth, you will handle first customer contacts, provide product information, quotes, and order processing in SAP, and coordinate shipments with our logistics team.

You will build strong relationships with customers, sales and technical support, and our Credit Department in Luxembourg. The role is office-based, with a busy, cross-functional environment that values accuracy,

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a commercial or customer service environment (ideally B-to-B)
• Technical aptitude; experience in a technical environment preferred (construction a plus)
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of International business an advantage
• Comfort with phone communications for order clarification
• Strong command of English; other languages advantageous
• SAP experience is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication; good team player
• Fast learner, dynamic, agile multi-tasker in busy office
• Good knowledge of IT tools

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with price, lead time, product information, technical documents to influence decisions and maximize sales
• Prepare and follow up on quotes following pricing guidelines from the commercial team
• Understand and convert customer requirements into orders in the SAP ERP system
• Process and follow up on incoming orders according to established procedures
• Cooperate with credit department to ensure reliable order fulfilment
• Liaise with replenishment team and occasionally with suppliers
• Coordinate shipments to customers with warehouse and carriers
• Check daily reports and act accordingly
• Perform additional administrative tasks as requested by Local Operations Manager
